There are 3 ways to get to Venice:

1. Via "Marco Polo" airport
2. Via "S. Lucia" train station
3. Via "Piazzale Roma" or "Tronchetto" carparks.


1. Via airport you can get to Venice by water. When you arrive at the airport you will find an orange shuttle bus that will take you to the "Alilaguna" boat dock. This boat leaves for Venice every hour OR You can catch a bus that goes to Venice. You will get off at "Piazzale Roma" and then catch a boat to the stop nearest the apartment where you will be staying.

2. If you are arriving at the "S. Lucia" train station just outside you'll find the boat stops. We recommend taking boat number 1(towards the Lido). It's a comfortable ride down the Grand Canal.

3. Even though parking is very costly in Venice, it is possible to arrive with one's car at either "Tronchetto" or "Piazzale Roma". Just the same, once you park, you will need to get on the boat headed in the direction of the apartment.

One last expensive yet quick option would be to take a private water-taxi from the airport directly to the door of the apartment. It is a good idea to always ask the price first.
